Library Policy

General Policy of HRVVMC Library
 
  • The HRVVMC Library is open from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Mondays to Fridays, except on holidays or work suspension
  • Walk-in clients are welcome but those who arrange reservations in advance shall be prioritized. It is strongly advised to arrange for reservations to ensure availability of space and information source(s) on actual date and time of visit.
  • A reservation shall be cancelled if the client fails to confirm their schedule within two (2) working days upon receipt of email informing the reservation approval.
  • First-time clients shall be required to create and activate their user account. They must present a valid government or school ID to the staff-on-duty upon arrival.
  • Only writing materials and mobile devices on silent mode are allowed within the library. Other items must be deposited at the designated locker.
  • Silence and orderliness must be observed at all times. All utilized materials must be endorsed after use to the staff-on-duty.
  • Library book stack area is open to the client(s) who may freely browse other titles related to their research. However, it is advisable to check the online public access catalog (OPAC) through the official website of the HRVVMC to determine the needed information sources. Submission of the selected title list in advance is also encouraged to reserve the materials on scheduled visit.
  • Clients are required to fill-in Ebook form(s) to document usage of the materials.
  • Clients are highly encouraged to accomplish a feedback form for any comments, suggestions, or complaints pertaining to library services.
